    I spent the last 16 years of my teaching career working at the elementary school level. Consequently, the majority of the books that I have created resources for, and that are listed on this page, are for Grades 1 - 5 students. Below you can view examples of some of the creative projects for children's books that are available on my website. Creative Bible Teaching introduces much educational psychology and theory that would take too many classes to cover if a student was trying to develop and assimilate the skills piecemeal. It is written in an accessible style with a minimum of technical complexity, though it provides comprehensive tools for developing a competent method/5(25).

    Recently, I completed a series of posts listing what I believe to be the most helpful books on each locus of systematic theology. Prior to that I completed a series of posts listing what I found to be the most helpful commentaries on each book of the Bible.. What I would like to do now is something similar with church history. God is a Creative God. God is a creative God. In fact, He invented creativity. It was His idea. Creativity is part of the very nature and character of God. The fifth word in the Bible is created—“In the beginning God created ” (Genesis ).

God kicked off the creative process and it’s been moving forward ever since. There is nothing more needed in Christianity today than creativity.

We don’t need more doctrinal precision and biblical knowledge, more conferences and programs. We don’t need more cookie-cutter youth groups copied from the megachurch down the street. We don’t want to hear another worship song with the same beat, the same tempo, the same words, and the [ ].

As creativity scholars Scott Barry Kaufman and Carolyn Gregoire write in their book Wired to Create: “Creativity isn’t just about innovating or making art—it’s about living creatively. We can approach any situation in life with a creative spirit.” Teaching is, through and through, a creative.
